AG Doughboy - Salt Question

We were told by the dealer to never run salt in an above ground pool, as it will rust out the metal frame, screws, etc. Yet I see here on this forum that quite a few are running salt in their AG's.

For those that are running salt, do you find it an issue with the metal frame?

I haven't seen or heard about anyone having any issues with rust on the frames of AGPs. The salt level in the pool should be low enough to not cause any problems.

You will find the same screws and other items made from stainless steel.
Just change them !
