aerator or something to keep pool cool

I need something to keep my pool cool in South Alabama.
It is an above ground pool with a sand filter.
I ordered an aerator from Amazon that is supposed to attach to the pool jet but the jet is too big.
Any advice is appreciated.

It's not air you need, but evaporation. You need something to shoot small droplets of pool water high into the air. I am using a cheap pond pump with a "bell" fountain attachment. It has dropped my pool temp by 10 degrees. Check out the link above for other options!
