Figured out you need to click on the poolmath tabs for what to add.

Thanks again for everyones help. I think holding chlorine with a lower cya is a good start. Hopefully oclt checks out tonight.

Still lots of things to do. I wish i found this before trusting pool store.

• Sometimes a static electric charge can build up on the R-0009 dropper bottle tip, causing the drops to be smaller than usual and making the test read higher than actual. You can prevent this by wipping the tip of the dropper bottle with a damp cloth or tissue before you start and after each drop.

Yes, speedstirrer, i was getti g nervous after 20 drops. I did not wipe tip.

Need to follow instructions better.

I will test again tonight after dark. Ta seems screaming high. As my ph was also high 7.8 i added 2 quarts muriatic acid.

And some dry stabilizer per poolmath.
I will test again in a few hours.

Hoping things check out.

Note that dry stabilizer takes 24-48 hours after being dissolved to show on tests.

I did not know that, guess i.ll just overnight chlorine loss test for my next post and redo the ta test wiping the dropper after each drip.

Fc impossibly went up overnight
Dropped 2.0 in 24 hours but my late night sample was 3, early morning was 4?
Obvious test error.

My ta is still screaming high at
200

My ch is high at 350

Ph 7.5

Will test cya tonight as i added chemicals at 8 last night.

Hoping i can get my test process better and figure my chlorine needs before i leave wednesday.

Still learning, not sure how i can mess up drips in a speed stirrer.

Oclt. 3 fc at 9pm, 3 fc at 5am?
Test says for testing chlorine over 5ppm?
Poolschool says over 3ppm for testing.
I.ll up my fc for tonight's test.

Not sure why my ta is drastic, last 3 tests first 2 well over twenty drops, last night 7? What gives, yesterday and sunday wiped tip after each drop. Learning curve i guess.
