Advice on replacing vinyl liner

My vinyl liner is over 20 years old and needs to be replaced. I will probably do that later this summer and would appreciate any thoughts about pitfalls to avoid. The contractor that I'm considering installs Latham liners. I intend to get some references from him that I can go look at.

20 years on a liner?!! I would get the same thing and find out who put it in and immediately give them the job.

If you have the original measurements that would help alot with ensuring you get a great fit.

Latham liners are a solid option.

Unfortunately, the guy who installed the liner sold his business three or four years ago. The new owner is an idiot. But, I found another local business that's family owned that I like so far.
