Liquid Chlorine
Just opened the pool on Wednesday, May 15th.

The company who opened my pool did the entire start up process.

Last night I tested the water using my Taylor Test kit and here are the numbers I got.

FC- 0
CC- 0
TA- 50
CH- 325
PH- 7.2
CYA- 60
Temperature- 62

Should I first add baking soda to raise the TA to about 80, and then focus on the liquid chlorine to get the FC up?

Thanks in advance.

Chlorine is always priority #1 as that is the only thing that kills algae.

There is nothing wrong with a TA of 50, just make sure it doesnt go lower and adjust if it does.
