OK, I ordered a CircuPool RJ-60+ and wondered the following. If you wire the swg to run on the pool pump schedule, then how do you run the pump for 24 hours after adding the salt without the swg also running? Is there a manual override?

Or do folks just install the swg system the day after adding the salt?

Be sure to check your salt level before adding any salt 🧂
& don’t just dump it all in at once, add 3/4 of what
PoolMath calls for, let it circulate at least 24 hours then retest
& add what’s needed to get to target 🎯, let that circulate 24 hours then turn on the cell.

Thanks for this, so you're advocating an initial salt add (conservative amount), wait 24 hrs, test, add more if needed, then wait another 24 hours? The Taylor salt test kit is on the way.

Yes- the only way to lower the salt level if you overshoot it is to exchange water.
Best to play it safe with large additions.

OK, swg arrived. Question: does it make sense to install cell upside down just to make sure it functions if water pressure is too low? Is there any downside to doing this?
