Adding Chemicals - Aquagenie Skimmer/Return Combo

Hi all

I’ve read a lot on here about pouring chemicals in front of a return in order to get a good mix into the pool.

My pool has a single Aquagenie skimmer/return combo and when adding Liquid Chlorine in front of it, it mostly just gets sucked straight into the skimmer.

Is this a problem, especially thinking about if adding acids to adjust PH etc…?

If yes, are there any suggestions on how best to add chemicals with this setup?

Pour chemicals into the deepest part of the pool away from the skimmer and then stir the area with your pool brush.
