Adding a sand filter to pool with skimmer already built in?

I've looked around here a bit and can't seem to find exactly what I need. We just bought this pool:

We have the Intex 2150 GPH sand filter and want to attach it to the skimmer. Can someone point me in the direction of links or videos and also what part(s) I need? Thanks in advance!

The back of the skimmer is a pipe that goes to the sand filter. It isn't a direct attachment, you use PVC to connect the two. Sometimes it take using some PVC adapters if the sizes aren't identical. It is pretty simple plumbing.

The skimmer on this pool is unlike others I've seen which is why I am unsure how to do this. The bottom unscrews and the motor can be taken out. It came with a rubber thing you can put in instead.

I have the same filter. The black disc is for blocking the inlet of the skimmer. It is not for replacing the motor at the bottom of the skimmer. But, people have been using it to do that. Look at Amazon for this...Hayward Dyna skim kit, it is a true skimmer to attach a sand filter.

Take the white hose off the return and hook to your pump, plum pump to return. Quick and dirty
