Had a brain fart when I was adding granulated CYA to the pool yesterday and dumped it in the deep end as opposed to putting it in a sock in the skimmer basket. CYA was at 0. Realized my mistake after I made it. I've been able to get some of it out using the handheld skimmer, but there's still a decent amount in there. Wish I had looked at the price of stabilizer before I dumped it in the pool! What's my best option here? Keep trying to get it out with the skimmer, get it with the vacuum (will probably clog Apollo cartridge filter and need to backwash it out), leave it, try to get it down the main drain?

You don't want acidic stabilizer sitting on the pool floor. It can mess with the coloring. If you can't scoop it out, best to vacuum. Let it go in the filter and just refrain from cleaning the filter for a few days if possible.
