Add a sock to Pentair pump basket

I changed my pump to Pentair pump and the basket design is different from the old one. The new basket is tall and water shoots in from the side opening. Is there a sock I can use for this Pentair pump basket? If not, is there a different kind of pump basket for this pump that works with socks?

Most people do not put socks in their pump baskets, just the skimmer baskets... I'd worry about the pump running dry when the sock filled up.

I bought a second basket for my IntelliFlo so that I can just take one out and put the other one in. Then I can take my time cleaning the dirty one for the next time.

Excellent advice on having two pump baskets Jim. I do the same thing and just turn the dirty one upside down on the equipment pad. By the time it is time to use, the dirt has dried and it is mostly clean. Quick hit with the air compressor and done.
