Hi, Can anyone send me a link to the correct fitting to adapt a compressor to the drain plug of a 1hp Hayward Super Pump? Also, what is the smallest compressor that is capable of blowing out the lines on a 20' x 40' pool (4' shallow/8' deepend). Thanks!

I don't have the fitting details but you can take the drain plug to your local plumbing supply and they'll go fetch you the right part.

That's the problem. You need high CFM to blow lines and most compressors can't handle it. Or If there is the slightest leak anywhere, you lose your pressure and it doesn't work. Do you have a large shop vac ? It has an endless supply of flow from the exhaust. Check this thread out.

Thanks. I appreciate the reply and I can make that work if necessary but I'd rather not have to pull the plug as I'm running the filter now getting ready to winterize.

If anyone knows and can provide a link that would be great.
