I searched through other threads for possible solutions. My Active 20 is 4 years old. It was working as recently as a couple of days ago but now it starts up does the startup test then turns off after 20 seconds. I have checked the impeller to make sure there's no debris. I took it out of water and turned it on and it stays on and runs like normal. Any ideas on what could be the issue?

I'm going to check the tracks when I get home, I forgot to inspect them yesterday. The fact that it was running fine out of the pool is giving me some hope, but I'm not sure. But yes, I will be getting a new cleaner soon. I just don't want to spend more than $500 on it, especially if i'm going to have to replace every 3-5 years. That's why I was looking into the Evo 502.
