I have searched the forums but haven’t really gotten a clear “it’s okay to use” or “don’t use”. If it is okay to use do we put it in Pool Math as 31.45%?

pool is nice and clear but I’m losing chlorine quickly! My pH has been reading 8.2 on the test block. Before adding more chlorine I’m thinking I need to get my pH down.

Test results from Tf-100 kit this morning:

FC- 0
pH- 8.2
CYA- 30-40 (it was in between so should I round up to the next one?)
TA- 230 (it’s been high since opening, just haven’t messed with that yet)
CH- 250

Thanks!

Show us the labels on the bottle.

The MSDS says 10% to 30% MA. IMO if it was full strength they would be bragging about it, or hiding that its watered down MA if not.

Low fumes is the second red flag for 1/2 strength MA.

There's nothing wrong with it, you'll just likely need twice as much.
