Yesterday I accidentally added 2 quarts of a mixture used to prevent ice formation on airplane wing leading edges. Called TKS, it is 85% ethylene glycol, the rest being 5% isopropyl alcohol and 10% water. The pool is 22,000 gallons, SWG, pool always kept at test levels according to Trouble Free Pool recommendations.
I would be grateful if those of you with a stronger chemical background could opine on whether at this level of dilution
1) it should be considered dangerous
2) there is a possible mitigating action - or simply passage of time could help
3) or it's so bad I need to drain and refill
With thanks for any help that may be offered.
