Acceptable levels?

Current levels:
FC - 7
CC - 0
TA - 110
PH - 7.5
CYA - 70
Salt - 3000

These seem good to me except the TA. How bad is a TA of 110? Seems like a lot of work to lower the PH with acid and then aerate to increase PH, when the PH is good.

Intex SWCG recommended salt level is 2500-3500 with 3000 being optimal. They are either on at 100% or off. Mine produces approx 3ppm in 7hours.

Target level is a number that you enter. If you entered 5 the last time, it will retain that number. Change your number to be the top end of the range showing above this entry.

You didn't enter a % output in SWG%

You should always follow this for your FC target. Link-->FC/CYA Levels

You should read the manual for your SWCG and see what the recommended salt level is for your cell. You should then maintain salt at that level. If 28lbs, per pool math, get you to that level, then yes, you should add it.
You said: Target level is a number you enter …

Now pool math will not allow me to change the target level. My FC is 6.5 and CYA is 80. Seems like I need to add chlorine to raise my FC but pool math is calculating my target level at 6. Which means my FC at 6.5 is a little high. Is something wrong with the app? I’m sure it’s something I’m doing wrong but I don’t know what it is.

You can change your target in the box that is selected below.

I tried to change it.. I selected it and hit the backspace to erase it and it won’t erase it. If I add another number it just leaves the populated number there and adds the number I added. For instance, I wanted to change it from 6 to 9 and it makes it 69.

Target is 6-11. I have the same chemistry. Ideally, you don’t want to get lower than 6. Depending on how often you test and add, you’ll want to base your “level” higher so that when you test you’ll be no lower than 6. I raise my chlorine to 7-8 every morning based on my current level and the expected UV and human load. I lose anywhere from 2-3ppm daily. It’s not an exact science so it’s better to error on the safer side.

Full disclaimer: I ride my FC closer to a target of 5, which is why I test thrice a day.
