AC wiring of Ultratemp ETI hybrid heater to Intellicenter

On the Ultratemp ETI hybrid heater to intellicenter AC connections, would I run the 240V directly to breaker and control with RS-485. Or do I run the 240V to the relay. It seems the hybrid heat pump would pull more current than the relays can support. Thanks
