Hey everyone. We put in an above ground pool at the beginning of the summer and we were wondering what is the weight limit for the top rails. I know adults shouldn't sit on them but is it ok for my 3 year old son to step on it when climbing up the laddder? It is a resin pool from Leslie's. any idea on weight limit?

Thanks a lot

It's a weight limit + safety issue for risk of slipping/falling as well. The rails will likely take the weight of a small child but the other reason not to use the top rail for any type of footing or climbing is that it's likely to be slippery and risk falling out of the pool to the ground or awkwardly on the rail or decking and cause injury. Encourage use of the ladder and ladder only for this reason.
