Ive had my above ground pool this is the 2nd summer. my levels are all good, i had my water tested at Leslies pools. Ive added the same things I did last year and only this year I am finding that in the morning the water is clear except these areas have what is shown in the photo. Other areas as you can see in the photo are glazed over the bottom with this dark gray matter. I have a skimmer, i back wash daily, I brush it daily, run my pump daily for 8 hrs. when i wake up the next morning the pool has this residue always at the the bottom and around the edges of the pool. I have a robot vaccuum and a regular vacuum and nothing comes up and infact it all just seems to just blow around like dust to the top and then the water becomes cloudy. Its so strange. No matter how much i do all that it eventually settles back down the same way. PLEASE HELP!!!! My pool is a Bestway above ground pool almost 10K gallons. Im beyond frustrated.

So, it appears your pool is sick with algae. Yep. I can assure you that while you are under the impression your levels are good (per pool store testing & advice) they are not. My initial recommendation for you is two-fold: Stay out of the pool store and order your own proper test kit. Either a TF-1000, TF-Pro Series, or Taylor K-2006C. IMO the TF products are a better value, but you MUST have one of those. Testing your water is easy, empowering, and you'll save money in the long run.
When you get your test kit, post a full set of test results as follows:

Oh, I should've said this also, but don't add ANYTHIING else to the water right now except liquid chlorine. That's all. I don't know how big your pool is yet until you populate your signature, but add about 1/2 to one gallon of liquid chlorine each day until the kit arrives. Then we'll go from there.
