We are installing a 16 foot above ground pool with 48 inch walls on a concrete pad but it will need to go about one-third into the grass (see photo). We have cut the sod out for the grass area and plan to lay down sand in the area where the grass was but we're not sure how high to put the sand since the water weight of the pool will change the depth of the sand and we want it to be level. (We do plan to use pavers in the grass area under the legs of the pool for stability). How deep should we make the sand (higher than the concrete?) We plan to use carpet as a foundation over the entire concrete pad
and grass before putting in the liner. Thanks for your help!
