I love in South Jersey about 20 minutes outside Philly. I have an above ground pool around 4 to 4.5 feet. Maybe 15,000 gallons? Sand filter. Pool store has told me that my levels are perfect. Last night I put an algecide and 2 things of liquid shock in and have been running the filter all night. I don't see any difference. What can I do?

Hi there, you will find lots of people that can help you here. First thing you will want to do is invest in your own test kit so that you can figure out what's going on with your pool's water chemistry. Here's a good place to start. Test Kits Compared

If you have Algae in your pool water, you are going to need to get liquid chlorine into that pool to help clear it up. Algaecide isn't going to fix the problem... it's really all about hitting it with higher than normal chlorine levels to kill it. Then you need to have your pool filter clean up the dead algae. You can learn more about this here: SLAM Process

Clearing this up isn't something that will happen overnight. It's going to take some time.
