A THANK YOU thread for my TFP!

This is just a big thanks to all on this site who help all of us newbies! Long story short....

Took down and put up a used pool last year middle of summer in Michigan. Up until a few weeks ago I was having algae issues. Just a light sheen of algae showing up every few days. After a handful of SLAMS(done incorrectly, unknowingly)I kept having the same issues. I wasn't following the SLAM rules properly. I SLAM'ed a few weeks ago following advice on this site and keeping the SLAM rules handy(which is suggested to do in the SLAM article)and no more algae issues! The pool is also crystal clear, the clearest it's ever been.

I was new to the pool industry just over 2 years ago. Just kind of thrown to the lion pit so to speak. Endless hours of browsing this forum trying to help my customers have the best experience and educating them and myself. I could not have done it without TFP! There have been many times where forum members have been more helpful and knowledgeable than our equipment suppliers. Cheers to you all! I find it flattering that I am now tagged in posts about Hayward equipment to help out people just like me! I am still learning but things that I have learned I will gladly share and do my best to give back to the community.
