I have a 6-port, low-profile Tsunami valve for pop-up in-floor cleaners in my pool. It uses a gear-set like this one: (https://www.amazon.com/Manufacturing-540277-6-Port-Low-Parts/dp/B00HEAPGZ8).
It’s eating the small pinion gears so much that I need to replace them every month or 2. Has anyone seen this before? Know the root cause? I’m guessing that the bowl is out of round and causing too much friction / gears to bind. Thoughts?
