I am currently shocking my pool at around 20ppm. Trying to clear a bad algae bloom. Anyway.. Can I use my dolphin nautilus while shocking the pool? The instructions say nothing over 4ppm. But that seems crazy!

I used mine during my one and only SLAM procedure, but it may prematurely age/wear some components in the unit. What is your current CYA ppm? If you're worried about it, just resort to manually brushing/vacuuming. It's a good arm workout for a few days!
