Just wanted to say hello people. Im learning alot here and im getting ready for the 2015 Season! Thanks to all of you that contribute and Happy Mothers Day to all the Mothers out there!
You can become our expert on windblown dust, since you're from Victorville.
A word of advice: unless you just filled your pool, your Calcium levels will be outside the recommended levels. Just accept it. It is possible to keep things balanced with CH up to about 800 without too much effort. Above 1000 CH, it's next to impossible.
If you have any lawn, use pool water to irrigate and refill the pool with fresh. That keeps the CH down. You'll lose some stabilizer, too, but that will buy you some elbow room to use pucks if you leave town for a few days. And if what I wrote after the dust makes no sense, don;t worry. It will soon enough.
Yep! i'm with you there. I did add about 600 gallons of fresh this season already. I should be ready for that 110 deg heat when it hits up in the high desert. Hay, is your heater Gas or elect? Talk with you again.
