There are a couple of ways you might find or figure that out. The best way is to get a copper test kit, prices and quality varies. Many pool stores will do copper testing, though the accuracy of pool store testing is highly variable. You can also try to guess at what might have been added to the pool that contained copper.
I ask because I bought the TF-100 test kit and under the CH test section, it says to add R-0012 if your pool contains copper. I don't have any reason to suspect it does, but should I test it anyway?
