Hey guys, I have a compupool CPSC36 and on polarity 2 I get a water fault. It operates fine on polarity 1 though. Called the company and they said cell is going bad. I have to wonder about this since it is working fine on polarity 1. Anyone experienced this?

That is fairly rare, but we do see a couple of them every year. They are correct, the cell is wearing out. This happens when the special coatings on the cell plates are thicker on one side then they are on the other. One side wears through earlier than the other, and you get the symptoms you are describing. However, the good side is still very close to being worn through, even if it isn't quite there yet, so you do need a new cell.
