    Our New Pool...Finally!

    Thought I would share the photo of our AGP. We are new to "pooling"...so far...so great! Thanks for a great forum...we have learned tons!

    Ditto to TizMe's question. Is that rock around the bottom? How much did it take? It looks very nice!

    Thanks!...Yes, it is Bryant Red Rock. Just sloped ground slightly away from pool edge...put down some weed barrier and put the rock around. No grass in pool from little feet!

    Beautiful! I, too, love the rock around the pool. Is that very expensive? I wonder if they have that here where I am, in FL.

    Thanks! The rock is not that expensive...we used about 4tons and about $40/ton. It's fun work hauling it all from the driveway to the backyard by the wheelbarrow! Works out nice...keeps the area clean.

    That's a very nice set up.
    Intex 16'x48" AGP 5,000 (uk) gallons
    Intex 635 pump
    Bio Diesel filter bags
    4 solar radiators and a solar cover

    Thanks for all the kind words! Next year: Deck on side of pool. Can't wait for that...able to sit on deck poolside sipping a cool drink will make a world of difference!
