Black Algae or Not

I tried to post this in another post I had for Mustard Algae, but no replies...so please excuse me for doing a new post.

I have these black dots on my pool, I tried putting 3" puck on it nothing happened, I tried the Vitamin c nothing happened, is it possible that they just came out from the plastered pool, there is not that many maybe 4 in total but I did not see them before, I did have copper stains that I removed with Vitamin c..would vitamin c remove iron stains? Thank you

If a puck did nothing, then it is not likely black algae ... you did try scraping them off with your fingernail right?

If they do not budget, then likely something in the plaster.

Vitamin C is more likely to work on iron than copper I believe.

+1 If it is an iron stain, vitamin C should help. But, a copper stain ? It responds to an acid, like MA.

Yes I did try scraping it off, but it feels like its a hard surface, like a rock.
