I have a hayward cc1500 pump with default pressure guage which is a little broken okay a lot broken. Does anyone know will the glycerin filled rear mount 2.5inch one on tftestkits.net will work?
The description of the part says that it's a 2" gauge so it may not fit. However, it's easy enough to tell if the gauge will fit. Go measure the diameter of the recess that the gauge is installed in now and of it's 2½" or greater it'll work just fine. If it isn't 2½" you could still use the gauge by installing a short ¼" nipple and coupling on the back of the gauge and then screwing that into the adapter in the filter. It would protrude above the filter a bit, but that wouldn't hurt anything. You could also use a bottom mount gauge if you did that. Reading a bottom mount gauge would be easier because you could turn it to a convenient position.
