New to the forum - New Liner Questions

First off I think I hit the jackpot finding this website!!
Need help with the new liner we just installed. There's about 6 inches in the pool already but worried if the liner is suppose to be looser than what it is. How tight/loose should it be?

Do you have pics to post? Can you pinch the liner off the wall? Trying to determine how much excess liner you have. It should not be hanging or sagging.
