Wondering what is the best thing to clean the light, scaly, film off of the exposed part of the vinyl pool liner with (the part that stays dry)? I have some pool store stuff called "Off The Wall". Is that okay or is there a home remedy for this too?

I find that the "magic eraser" appears to scratch my vinyl. I only use it on my steps. I use a product called "Green Works" (natural) and a bristle brush to clean the water line of my liner - It does a great job. It's made by Clorox.
