Jandy stealth 2.5 pump won't turn on

Today I went outside and noticed that lid to the waterway check valve had cracked and sprung a leak. Went to the pool store bought a replacement and put it I place -easy fix. Now my pump won't turn on. When you turn the system on you hear an audible click and then nothing. My husband is checking the voltage now. Pool system is less than 3 years old. What to do?

any humming or anything other than the click?

I'm thinking start capacitor, it is under the bump on the motor part of the pump.
