I have a pool only a couple of months old and one of my skimmers is clogged. I am not sure exactly what is in it. it could be leaves but i am not sure. How can i unclogg this with out blowing up the piping. I tried putting a water hose in but i cant make the first turn. Am I stuck with one skimmer?

Shut everything off. Move any valves you have to just the skimmer if possible. Open the pump strainer basket and put a hose in the pipe from the inside. Seal it with a rag. Have someone turn the hose on and hope you can flush whatever is in there backwards. If the two skimmers are tied together, a third person may have to block the good skimmer's pipe with a tennis ball or something.
If that doesn't work, then you try the same thing but with a drain king inflatable bladder. And after that, a plumber's snake.
