pump question

So I received my pump today thinking it was 2100gph based on the name from Amazon but it is 1600gph. My pool is 18'x48", will this work or do I pick up the 2100gph at Walmart and return the 1600?

Everything is going up tomorrow!!

It will work, but it is not preferred. The larger pump gives better results on a pool the size of yours.

Why do they call them 2100gal when its 1600gph and 2800gal when its 2100gph?!?!?!
