I am a newbie to the forum. I have been doing a lot of reading and viewing some beautiful work on this site.
I am starting a design for an outdoor kitchen but I wanted to nail down my equipment first. I have a opportunity to get a used 2002 Grand Turbo 38" 6 burner with Rotesserie burner
(YO663LP), double side burner and large pull out drawer for $750. I have called the manufacturer, Barbeques Galore, and they only have a few parts available for this grill. According to the customer service rep, the valves are no longer available and they do not have retrofit kit for something else.
My questions are:
1. Is this a good buy?
2. How often to valves go out?
3. Does anyone have a solution for manifold and vavle replacement?
4. Can this be converted to NG?
5. Are they any other places to get parts for this grill?
I will share my design plans when I get closer to a finalized design.
