I did a quick search which did not reveal the answer to my question. What is the best method/location to store a micro mesh safety cover over the summer so that nothing will get into it - like mice or ants? I bought a brand new cover two years ago. Last summer, I stored it in the mesh bag provided inside a big plastic trash can with wheels and lid. I was thinking it would be perfect and keep out the pests. Unfortunately, the ants still found it and chewed about 3 small holes in my brand new cover. I'd really like to find a way to store the cover so nothing will damage it. I appreciate any suggestions!

I don't know how small the safety cover compacts down, but you may look into storing it in a space bag first, then inside the sealed trashcan. Sealing the lid to the can with a couple of layers of packing tape wouldn't hurt either.
