Is 60 for Calcium Hardness OK for vinyl pool?

pH really has no impact on foaming, only the hardness. 60 ppm is fairly soft water and it will have a higher tendency to foam than harder water (with higher CH). IF the foaming is not a problem you are fine but if you see any foaming then increasing the hardness to a minimum of around 150 ppm can help.
