Is CYA CYA or are there differences in sterength? Leslies is anywhere from $6.00 to $8.00 per pound and now I find this on Amazon at $2.80 a pound with free shipping and no tax. Any thoughts?

Cya is cya......but are you ever going to need 26lbs?? Unless you plan on using this for severallllllll months, a smaller container will cost more per pound, but save you in the long run as odds say you'll never use all that container.

If you were starting from scratch, you would only need 5 pounds in your 8500 gallon pool to raise it from 0 to 70ppm for your SWG. Assuming it does not all disappear over the winter, you might need to bump it by 20ppm every year which is 1.5 pounds.

So a 26 pound container would last you about 15 years at that rate ... seems a bit excessive
