Hayward Northstar

I have a logistical question. Trying to get my motor out of my pump, however, there is a pipe way too close for me to get the collar that locks the motor into the pump. This is the second motor, so I know it has been done. Would like to avoid calling the pool guy that replaced it last time, since I would like to fix it myself.

Is there a way to dismantle the motor to get it out of it's trapped space?

It is a Hayward Northstar pump, currently with a Century Centurion 1.5hp motor

Remove the couplings from the inlet and outlet so you can move the entire pump.

How difficult is it to get these pipes back in place? Looks like I probably will have to remove the one to do my job.

Those are a bit easier than the ones on the pump but I was talking about the ones on the pump itself.
