Okay, does it matter how the 2 speed is installed and how can I figure that out??
So the two speed motor that I posted is a 115v ONLY. Two speed motors come in only one voltage choice while a single speed motor is usually dual voltage.

If your current pump motor is connected to a dual breaker, then it is 230v. If it is connected only to a single breaker, then it is 115v.

I'm just as lost as I was before. I don't still know if I need a 230V or a 115V and I did look at the ones with the timer built in. That looks great but if I can make the timer I have work then I would rather stick with it... Can someone chime in here for me. I really want to get this purchased.
Thanks

Oh, Mark, I just now saw your post, didn't go to the 2nd page til now... Sorry, so basically it doesn't matter, I can get the 2 speed 115V motor that you suggested right? And then I was also looking at the timer issue, and saw this, http://www.inyopools.com/Products5/02400001004824.htm but based on that it looks like the one that bobodaclown mentioned with the timer is better. Link for 1.5hp: https://www.americanbestpoolsupply.com/ ... 129181.htm
I just want to make sure that I am getting the right one and that I have all the parts that I need with it. Can someone give me another clue?
