Hi all,
I have been reading the form just registered today. Great site, great info. Appreciate it!

I am in Southern Arizona, I have a small intex pool, will be upgrading the size next year, bought the sand filter this year.
I have been doing this myself, middle aged woman, with a handicapped daughter, thinking I will hire someone for the ground prep next year.

I have a leak I cannot locate, so, am going to search the forum for help.

Since you pool sounds like it is relatively small, it may be easiest to just let the pool leak down to where it stops (accounting for your high evaporation rate) and look for the leak at that level. See: http://www.troublefreepool.com/pool-school/leak_detection

Yes it is a small pool, Intex Ultra Frame 12' x 36"
Bought it last year, tried to lift it and do a better job of leveling this year...that is when the leak started.
The leak, I believe, is in the seam.

I just ordered a new liner, this really is the perfect size for us.

I am so glad I found mcoonan (Mike) ground prep info:

I have found the foam insulation at Lowes for about half the price as Home Depot.
I will also buy the 10 x 2 x 6 board and level.

The thought of doing this ONE MORE TIME (bytes), but doing it RIGHT so it lasts for years is very appealing!
