My filter is leaking from the backwash/waste hose when I place the valve in the filter position. I've replaced the Diverter w/gasket and the spring. Still leaks. Any suggestions? I'm new, so go slow. Thanks!

Are you turning the pump off before moving the valve?

How bad is the leak? Is it really bad like the valve is wide open?
I'd take the top off the valve and make sure that the spider gasket is still seated correctly.
