6 way valve for sand filter inground pool

I have the same problem as others have with the water coming out od the backwash/waste portal when in filter mode,
tried everything known to man without success. iI changed the diverter which has the spider washer already attached
it didn't fix my problem, I also replaced the plastic washers and spring no difference. what next, can some advise me , my filter is a Tagius.

Can you post a picture of the valve?

There have been a few instances where the inner partitions in the valve body were cracked and allowed water to pass from one chamber to another, but that is rare.

Same problem here. Even with a new gasket on the diverter, it still leaks. I'm about to switch to a cartridge, but for now I put a pipe plug in the back wash line. I take it out when I need to backwash.
