I believe I can say the pool is now open. I had a little more difficulty this year than last. Seems my cover became porous over the winter, rain water/snow melt raised the level back to it's original height and a lot of "dirt, dust and debris" was settled on the bottom. The water was a good color but it was hazy. My DE filter did the job with several vacuumings and required several regenerations but no back-washing became necessary. I was fighting CC for almost twenty four hours but it finally read within range. So. .
