You are shocking the pool, correct? If so, follow the shock process (in my signature) until you meet all 3 criteria. The CC<.5, the OCLT<1 ppm, and the pool is clear.

Thanks again for the help. So I have FC level of 28.5 but when I tried to test the CC, it said add 5 drops of R-0003 and if cc is present it will turn pink. Well it took 7 drops and then 2 of R-0871 to get back to clear. What does that mean?
Your post is a bit confusing.....did it turn pink when you added the five drops of R-0003?
Only add 5 drops, if it immediately stays clear, then you have 0 CC which is good.
Realize if you leave it sit for a few minutes, it will turn pink, but this does not count.

Have you passed the other 2 criteria to stopping the shock process? You should be testing CC every time to get a feel for trends.
The pool looks great. It actually did before I even started. So on goal B, the FC can't even drop 2 points overnight?
