My FC levels have been dropping steadily over the last few days. I started running the stenner pump for a 5 hour cycle - nothing. I discovered that the tube had gone flat so I wasnt injecting any chlorine. I recalled that I got an extra tube with the pump. I dug around and found the tube, also found some extra clips for the pump head assembly. Installed the tube and my chlorine popped up to 10 this morning. I left it running for 3 hours.
So my original clips died after about 6 months, I didnt realize that extras were included. It seems that the company knows the clips and the tubes are pretty frequent wear items.
Does anyone else do any regular maintenance? I feel like I need to put some grease somewhere in the pump. Im suspecting that tubes and clips definitely are going to be a yearly expense.
