Hello all. I am a new pool owner & member, and have already gleaned valuable info from the site. The home I purchased has an in ground pool that is about 12 years old, and was in sorry shape when we moved in. 3 weeks and about $1500 later (new pool vac, pump motor, misc plumbing repairs, and full set of filter grids) the water is crystal clear, and we are in maintenance mode, waiting for the weather to get just a bit warmer (I am in central CA / Fresno area) so we can start enjoying the pool.
I am a newb when it comes to pools, but am learning quickly. Grateful to have found this site to teach me and keep the costly mistakes to a min.
