Keeping pool toppedtapped off with water softener ??

Are there any affects on water chemistry i need to be aware of besides lower CH and extra salt usage in my softener if my outside water hose bib is tied into my softened water and is then used to keep my pool topped off? ?

That's a good thing, but only if you need to lower your CH......Do you?

Nah not really, CH is usually steady at 170-180....what or is there a too low CH for a vinyl pool? ?

There is not really a minimum CH for a vinyl pool. The Pool School recommendation says >50ppm.
