Bought my house in November 2011, maintained the pool with the pool store all summer, then tried letting a pool service take it for a month witha livingsocial deal.within 2 weeks it was completely green. they came out and drained it, chlorine washed, and refilled it. now i'm back to maintaining it using the BBB Method. So glad a coworker pointed me to this forum. I've learned a lot about the chemistry already and look forward to learning more. Also if anyone in the las vegas area needs a pool filter i have a used pentair clean and clear plus 420 cartridge filter for sale. it just needs a new metal securing band and pressure valve.
