Automatic Pool Cleaners and AGP

Looking at one of the automatic robotic cleaners for my AGP such as Polaris or the Baracuda mx8. They list them as for in ground pools. Do they work with AGP if not are there ones that will?

Jim, we have a buried (12-18" above ground) Doughboy and use an Aquabot Turbo. We just plug it into the electrical outlet, drop it into the pool, turn it on and walk away. It's an in-ground cleaner. The lady we bought it from a few years ago got it from her grandfather, who'd used it for years in his in-ground, gave it to her for her above-ground (not buried) and it wouldn't climb the walls of her above-ground (To me, that's a GOOD THING! I wish I could get it to stop climbing the walls on our buried AGP!) Hope that helps!
